Nursery  

In the Stepping Stones Ministry our desire is to come alongside families and provide a safe, loving environment for their children. We care for children ages birth up to five years old so that parents can worship, serve, and grow spiritually.

Our staff are experienced childcare providers who are CPR certified and trained in first aid. Ministering with  our staff are experienced adult and youth volunteers. When little ones are left in our care parents are given a pager and buzzed if necessary. In order to best meet the needs of our precious little ones we provide classes for different ages and appropriate developmental stages.

Our ministry is available for all church services and other special events. The nursery is open on Sundays from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon for our morning worship services. We typically open about 15 minutes prior to special events and services. Please pick up your child as soon as the service or event is over.

Babies - Birth to 12 months (Walking)
We encourage parents to leave their newborn babies early so they become comfortable in a nursery environment. Coos and cuddles are abundant! Little ones experience the love of God through the love of others. When left in our nursery babies are nurtured and cared for, as well as prayed for by name. Babies meet in Room C2 on Sunday mornings and Room C1 for all other events.

Toddlers - Walking to 36 months
Toddlers are beginning to enjoy the company of others. Here they will begin to interact with other children, learn simple truths about God, hear Bible stories, and learn verses.Through loving interaction with staff and volunteers, the children develop a trust and affection for those who care for them. Toddlers meet in Room C1, although often during warm weather they can be found enjoying the toddler playground. 

3 & 4's - Building Blocks
Preschool aged children are ready and eager to learn more about God. To meet this need we teach Bible stories, memorize verses, sing songs, make crafts, and enjoy playtime. We hope to capture your preschooler's attention sparking a love for Christ in their hearts so that when they are older they will be on fire for the Lord.The Building Blocks class meets in Room C4 although they too can often be found enjoying the playground during warm weather.
