MISSIONS PHILOSOPHY
We as a local church partner through mission agencies with missionaries and long term national workers, supporting them through prayer, finances, encouragement, and where helpful- visits from pastoral staff or short term teams. Our outreach is accomplished primarily through three agencies: (click on logo's)
WORLD VENTURE (Formerly CBI)– Engaged in church planting in Europe, Asia and South America. 
MISSIONS DOOR (Formerly MTTA) – Seeks to win the lost in North and Central America.
WYCLIFFE BIBLE TRANSLATORS – Engaged in translating the Bible into languages for people groups who have no Scripture they can currently read and understand. 
EDUCATION

We seek to keep the congregation informed and engaged by encouraging our missionaries to visit Calvary and share with us details of their ministry - praises and prayer needs.

We schedule a missions conference bi–annually as missionaries are availableto cultivate the hearts of the believers at Calvary and give them practical ways to be faithful to their part in reaching the nations.

Each month, we gather together and copy current letters and updates from our missionaries and have them available for the congregation so they can praise God for the miraculous works He is doing as well as knowing how to focus their prayers. We also highlight one or more of our missionaries with a profile of their lives, their testimony and ministry work in the Calvary Connection.

We share short testimonies, prayer requests, and praises that we have recently received from the mission fields in our bulletin.

Weekly we highlight a missionary in our bulletin and pray for them during our service as well as focusing on a particular missionary and field during our monthly Prayer Gatherings.

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
We encourage believers at Calvary to consider God’s call to take the message of salvation to unreached peoples. To achieve this we support short term mission trips for Inner City evangelism and to various foreign lands.

MISSIONS HOUSE
CBCHB maintains a fully furnished residence for missionaries who are newly appointed or on home assignment. The three-bedroom, 1.5 bath home is located adjacent to the church and is about 2 miles from the beach. It is available for short periods or up to one year. A fee is charged for rent and utilities; all housekeeping is the responsibility of the renter. If you are interested in renting this home for all or part of your home assignment, please contact the church office by email or by phone at 714.962.6860.
