Dennis Cole became a follower of Jesus Christ during his senior year of high school in 1989. He and his wife Christine have adopted 5 kids – Mario, Melissa, Pete, Phineas, and Phoebe and have been foster parents for 11 kids. They began attending Calvary Baptist Huntington Beach in 1993. Dennis has served on the missions committee, nominating committee, and as a deacon for many years at Calvary, and is currently elder liaison to the deacons. Dennis plays his guitar and sings on the Sunday Morning Worship Team and Wednesday Youth Group.  He and Christine host the Calvary Amplify Young Adult Bible Study in their home every Friday Night. Their deepest desire is to bring God the glory in their home and community.​

Dennis served as an English teacher and school principal for 21 years before becoming the Director of Partnerships and Operations for the Orange County Department of Education. He is an executive board member for Association of California School Administrators, Junior Achievement Orange County, Boy Scouts Orange County Council, Fountain Valley Schools Foundation Board, Fountain Valley Community Foundation, Vanguard University Teacher Education Advisory Council, Concordia University Dean’s Advisory Council, the Orange County Sheriff’s DUILA Board and Schools First Federal Credit Union President’s Advisory Council.
